Nevermind about California. That won't be happening until Spring Break, unfortunately, as my dad has slipped on the ice and broken his ankle. He suffered some ligament damage as well and had surgery to fix it, and he's home now in a splint (he'll get a hard cast in a week or two). It's really hard for him to even get around the house since he can't put any weight on the leg whatsoever...

So I've been running errands and doing a lot to help out my parents. I've also given myself a project: create a shoulder bag to hold my bass clarinet, music folder, marching band music, water bottle(s), and a few other things. I'll probably post a picture of it here once it's done. I'm so excited about it!

So nice to be home, despite the problems, hehe.
