I didn't realize how long ago it's been since I've updated here! Lots has happened. I'm back at school now, and things are going wonderfully thus far, including a few unexpected surprises here and there. My room is nearly completely organized, and it looks fantastic either way. MY LOFT IS PURPLE, AND MY LADDER IS GREEN WITH SHAG CARPETING ON THE STEPS. Uh huh. Yea, that's right.

My dark situation has suddenly taken a sharp turn for the...better. It's still quite sticky, but there's much hope now for things to right themselves. So yay for that.

I have some brand-new photos to put up here, but they're not yet on the computer. That will change soon, possibly even this week sometime. Who knows? Either way, new stuff is coming.

Change is very exciting at times. For me, this is one of those times. New classes, new people, new experiences, new thoughts on old problems, new insights, new books, new teachers, new classrooms, new loft, new pet (we have a fish now! His name is Neville), new everything. And I plan on meeting it all head on and at full force.

Things are much better. I'll make a proper update later, but I felt I should get that terribly depressing, old news off my page.

So yes, happiness all around now

I'm getting pretty tired of seeing all these deviations with a description that simply looks like this:

or, even worse, this:

You may not have a lot to tell us about your piece of art, but tell us something! Some of us actually are curious about what made you create that photo or poem or whatever. Why did you choose that angle for the photo? How did you decide on the title of "blah blah blah" for your computer-generated picture of a lake? What was the inspiration for that poem? There must be something you can put in that description box besides an ellipsis or the lone period.

Just had to say that.
